Looking for a more seamless login experience when visiting Temple websites? We strongly recommend using the free Duo Mobile app together with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

With Duo Mobile, you can quickly log in to Temple's websites by approving a push notification rather than responding to a text message or phone call.

Installing the Duo Mobile App

• If you already registered a phone for MFA, but did not set up the Duo Mobile app, see our quick setup instructions.
   
• Otherwise, when you register a phone for MFA you will be prompted to install and set up Duo Mobile.

Logging in with Duo Mobile

Once you install and set up the app, there are two ways you can log in:

Send a Push Notification to Your Phone

This is the simplest and fastest method of verifying your identity:

1. Simply choose the Send Me a Push option when prompted to confirm your identity on a Temple website.
    
2. Tap Approve on your phone when prompted to log in.
    

Use a One-Time Passcode (OTP)

A one-time passcode enables you to log in when your phone is in airplane mode or in a location without a cellular signal or Wi-Fi connection:

1. When prompted to confirm your identity on a Temple website, select the Enter a Passcode option.
    
2. To generate an OTP, open the Duo Mobile app on your device, and under the Temple University account, tap Show next to Passcode.
    
3. Finally, type the passcode in the provided area on the login screen.

Using the Duo Mobile App with Third Party Accounts

Did you know that you can also use the Duo Mobile app to protect other accounts, like Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and Google? To add third party accounts to your Duo Mobile app, open the app and tap Add +. Select the account you would like to add and follow the prompts to set up the account.
