ISA identified significant concern regarding student space at TUH :

  1. Relaxation space  > 40%

  2. Secure storage  > 30%

  3. Study space  > 30%

In response, Dr. Salerno, Associate Dean, UME, and Ken Lee, Executive Director, Educational Affairs Administration, toured the hospital with Dr. Del Portal, TUH CMO, and Shane McDevitt, VP of Facility Services, to see what was presently available. A second tour with GME leadership - Susan Coull, Senior VP TUH, Chief GME Officer, ACGME Designated Institutional Officer, and Yolanda Reyes, Director of GME Programs, occurred to identify space and work required to address concerns. To see the full list of student spaces available at TUH, view the details here.
