At Temple Health, we couldn’t be more grateful to those who have served our country, and we know how lucky we are to have so many veterans on our team. That’s why, on November 11th, we celebrated Veterans Day with cupcake giveaways across the Health System. It was a sweet (toothed) way to say, “Thank you for your service,” and to let our veterans know just how much they’re appreciated!

We are pleased to announce that Georgeann Moore has been formally appointed as the Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine effective November 1.

Georgeann had an eleven year tenure as a prodigious major and principal gift fundraiser for Katz before leaving for a development and alumni relations management opportunity at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City in 2022. We were delighted to welcome her back to Temple last fall as AVP for development and alumni relations for Katz and grateful for her willingness to step up as interim leader for our Temple Health team in June.

Georgeann is a collaborative partner with a laser-focus on advancing prospect relationships thoughtfully and expediently towards gift conversations that align with donor passions and institutional impact. In this role, she will report to me and serve as a member of my senior leadership team, while continuing to functionally report to Dean Goldberg, managing her development activities and serving on her leadership team as well. We are excited for what she will do to build upon her incredible fundraising success and the Dean’s ambitions for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine and Temple University.

Sincerely,

Mary Burke
