On behalf of Dr. Colleen Christmas and Dr. Sevil Yasar, I am sharing information about the 2025 Medical Student Training in Aging Research (MSTAR) Program offered at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology.

The MSTAR Program raises the visibility of aging research and geriatrics for medical students and offers mentored research in a range of disciplines linked to aging. Students spend 60 continuous days on the campus of Johns Hopkins University during the summer of 2025 participating in their research projects at Hopkins, and participate in discussions and clinical experiences in geriatrics.

We are now accepting applications of individuals who have an interest in aging research and geriatrics for the 2025 MSTAR Program at Johns Hopkins. We particularly aspire to cultivate a diverse class of MSTAR colleagues.  Deadline to apply is January 10, 2025 at 11:59pm EST.

Please see the attached flyer for details of the MSTAR Program to share with your medical students.  Additional information and application may be found on our website at https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/geriatric-medicine-gerontology/education/medical-students/mstar
