Dear Colleagues,
LKSOM faculty contribute to the development and implementation of a broad set of educational programs online and in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. Each year we recognize the contributions of our outstanding faculty toward building and maintaining excellence in education through our annual LKSOM Educational Excellence Awards.
There are several award categories including teaching, research mentoring, service, scholarship, and community outreach that aim to capture the breadth of faculty participation in education at LKSOM. Descriptions of each award, along with faculty eligibility criteria and required documentation for short-listed candidates are outlined in the attached document. Nominations only require a brief justification relevant to the particular award to be submitted to Sharon Kass (sharon.kass@temple.edu) by February 5, 2025.
The Office of Faculty Affairs will review all nominees for eligibility and subsequently request complete applications for review by the Awards Committee. Award presentations will occur at the LKSOM Educational Excellence Awards Reception in May (details to follow).
