Updates on Transitioning from Ensemble to Panopto

As recently announced, Panopto, an industry leader in video capture, storage and streaming is replacing Ensemble as Temple's video hosting platform.

Panopto offers many benefits, including the ability to:

  • easily incorporate your video files into your Canvas courses,
  • record content using your Windows PC, Mac, or mobile device,
  • and search inside videos as easily as you search the web.

Accessing Panopto
Panopto is now available for Temple students, faculty and staff! To log in and upload your video files:

  • Go to video.temple.edu and choose the Temple Single Sign-On option, or
  • In your Canvas course, click the Panopto Video link in the left navigation menu.

Cutoff Date for Uploading Content to Ensemble
Information Technology Services (ITS) plans to migrate all content from Ensemble to Panopto starting on Monday, August 1. Please be aware that although links to Ensemble content will continue to work, you will not be able to upload new videos to Ensemble starting on this date.
