Getting Started with Microsoft Teams

Explore the fundamental capabilities of Microsoft Teams and learn how to seamlessly connect with your colleagues, foster dynamic conversations and enhance collaborative efforts. Join us as we guide you through the essentials of Teams, including scheduling meetings, leveraging in-meeting features, creating new teams and facilitating file sharing for seamless collaboration.   • Tuesday, November 14, 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Microsoft Teams Calling: Uniting Teams and Calls

Learn to use Teams Calling as an alternative to using a desk phone in our current hybrid/remote environment. With Teams Calling, you will continue using your Temple landline number but will use Microsoft Teams instead of a traditional telephone. View the training agenda for this session here.

Please note that this training covers an advanced feature of Teams. It is highly advisable to have prior familiarity with Teams before attending a Teams Calling training session. We encourage you to attend the above Getting Started with Microsoft Teams training or review a previous Teams training session. Getting Started with Microsoft Bookings

Discover the essential features of Microsoft Bookings. Bookings allows your clients to effortlessly schedule appointments, eliminating the necessity for phone calls or email correspondence. With Bookings, you can manage your appointments, send appointment confirmations and reminders, implement business schedules and automatically update your staff’s calendars. Adding a Training Session to Your Outlook Calendar

  1. Click the registration link above for the training session you would like to register for.
     
  2. You will be directed to Bridge, the Human Resources Training website. Click the Register button.
     
  3. Within a few minutes, you will receive a Registration Confirmation email from Temple University Human Resources.
     
  4. Click the session.ics file attachment. Then, click + Add to Calendar (Outlook Web) or Add (Outlook Mobile). If using the desktop version of Outlook, double click the attachment and follow the prompts.
