Lewis Katz School of Medicine (LKSOM) WEATHER ADVISORY – Inclement weather update for Monday, January 6, 2025

The Lewis Katz School of Medicine will delay opening until 10am tomorrow, Monday, January 6, 2025, for all faculty and staff.   Essential personnel are expected to report to work as required by departmental needs.  Any questions should be directed to your supervisor.

Phase 1 morning classes will be held virtually starting at 8am tomorrow for both the N. Philadelphia campus and the St. Luke’s campus.   Currently, afternoon sessions (doctoring and remediation exams) will be held, in person, as scheduled.

TEMPLE FACULTY PHYSICIAN PRACTICES (TFP) will be open tomorrow as usual.

All Phase 2 and 3 medical students and physician assistant students on clinical rotations should report to their sites as scheduled.  If travel to a clinical site is prohibitive, students should contact the appropriate clerkship/elective director.

Didactic physician assistant students should report as scheduled at 10am.   Post baccalaureate students should report at 10am.

We will continue to monitor the weather conditions throughout the day tomorrow and communicate any updates as needed.

Please be safe in your travels.

Regards,

Joe Rudy
