Beware of Active Widespread Phishing Scams

Over the past several weeks, Temple and many other institutions have been the target of multiple email phishing campaigns. It is important to use extra caution with any email that asks you to click on a link or directs you to provide personal information in any way.

These email messages often reference unsolicited job opportunities or have a pressing tone about them urging you to take immediate action. Furthermore, they may come from the accounts of Temple community members that have already been compromised.

Information Technology Services is actively working to enhance our email protection systems to prevent these attacks.

To report suspicious email messages, use the Report Phish button in your Temple email account.

Please visit systemstatus.temple.edu to stay up to date on recent phishing campaigns.

We thank you for your cooperation and patience.
