Tech Bits: What's New at OWLtech for Fall 2021

Happy first week of the Fall 2021 semester! With the new semester now underway, perhaps you are thinking your technology could use an upgrade to help you get through the new academic year.

If so, Temple’s OWLtech store has you covered with the following promotion and new services:

• Back-to-School Promotion
  Still shopping for a new laptop or tablet this semester? From now until Monday, September 27, OWLtech is running their Back-to-School promotion. When you purchase an eligible Mac or iPad, you will receive a free pair of AirPods. Note that certain terms apply.
   
• OWLtech Express
  Need a phone charger or headphones to help you power through the day? No longer do you need to walk to the OWLtech store. Stop by the new OWLtech Express vending machine conveniently located in the Help Desk on the first floor of the TECH Center, where you can purchase the latest tech accessories from your favorite brands, such as Apple, Skullcandy and more.
   
• Fix n’ Fly Repair Service
  Does your MacBook or iPad need to be fixed? OWLtech is now an Apple authorized service provider and can help with screen repairs, liquid damage, battery replacement, and more. At this time, iPhones are not part of this service.

Prefer to avoid paying full price for a new computer?

• Trade in an old device to receive store credit towards a new MacBook or tech accessories through OWLtech’s Trade-In; Trade Up Program.
   
• Purchase significantly discounted recycled/refurbished university computers and other electronic devices through the Computer Recycling Center.
  
  View their inventory and place orders online through the CRC Surplus Electronics webstore. Then pay for it and pick it up by scheduling an appointment through the OWLtech/CRC Reservation Calendar.
